No water mixing is allowed with LATICRETE® 9237. It is a single component liquid which is used directly using a roller or a brush. Fabric roll must be used in all corners, joints of differential elements and plane changes.
There are two pack sizes available: 5 Litres and 20 Litres. The fabric roll is of width 150 mm and length more than 18 mtr.
LATICRETE® 9237 is latex based under tile water proofing membrane which has good flexibility, crack bridging ability and good load bearing capacity. This is used along with fabric roll for change of planes, differential element joints and existing cracks.
Though the product is easy to use, it is always recommended to have an experienced application contractor engaged for installation of SP-100™ grout. Follow all the precautions specified above while applying the epoxy grout. Seek the help of MYK LATICRETE team member for application.
SP-100™ stain free epoxy grout is available in 40 attractive colors to suit your taste of choice of tiles. Please ask for MYK LATICRETE CHIP CLIP which is used for selecting the required color.
SP-100™, when used in swimming pools resists the attack of chlorination of water in the pool. Normal cement based grouts disintegrate due to this chlorination of swimming pool water.
Our wash rooms are usually cleaned with locally purchased acids which immediately attack the joints. If the joints are filled with cement or cement based grout, they get neutralized in a short period and turn black. Later you will see the cement gone
and joints open up leading to all kinds of problems like water leakages and paints peeling off. All this can be avoided with SP-100™ as it efficiently resists the attack of acids used for cleaning the wash rooms.
The biggest advantage is it is 100% stain proof and does not allow any stains to form on joints due to spillage of different food materials, beverages etc. Besides this, being a solid epoxy grout, it does not crack, powder or disintegrate with time. It can be safely used in kitchens and bathrooms as it is anti-fungal and anti bacterial, hence makes the floors and walls very hygienic.
No. One can use SP-100™ for covered areas only. This product is not suitable for external facades and floors if they are not covered.
The minimum width of joint should be 2 mm and maximum size (width) of joint should be 12 mm for installation with SP-100™. If you are installing SP-100™ in joints wider than 12mm ask MYK LATICRETE team member for a suitable epoxy grout.
Foot traffic is allowed after 24 hours from the final cleaning of the grout. Heavy traffic is allowed only after 7 days from the day of final cleaning of grout joints. For water bodies, it is recommended to fill water only after 7 days from the day of final cleaning.
