Laticrete in the Lap of Nature – Sahara Amby Valley

Laticrete was chosen as the supplier for providing materials and method for the installation of tile/stones at some of its most prestigious locations like the artificial water bodies such as wave pool, lagoon and cascades.

Other areas of installation are Fisherman Wharf restaurant in the middle of the lake, golf club building, Town plaza and more…

The products used for the water bodies were Laticrete 3642 for installation of leveling mortar bed, Laticrete 9237 for waterproofing, Laticrete 111+73, latex fortified adhesive for fixing of tiles and Laticrete SP-100, stainfree epoxy grout for filling of Joints. The area in consideration was 60,000 sft.

At fisherman wharf, Latapoxy 210, modified epoxy adhesive was used to install Granite over metal, also Laticrete glass mosaic adhesive was used to install glass mosaic tiles. The area in consideration was more than 15,000 sft.

Laticrete adhesives and grouts were also used at the golf club building and town plaza for installation of Vitrified and glass mosaic tiles. The area in consideration was more than 20,000 sft.

The above project posed challenges in terms of varying weather conditions from hot and humid, cold to heavy rainfall which put heavy demand on the performance of the products.
