The Dhirubhai Ambani International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DAICEC) is one of the world’s largest and most attractive convention centres laced with state-of-art infrastructure and facilities. The convention centre is a first of its kind in Asia drawing inspiration from best-in-class hospitality and exhibition centres from the world. Located in commercial capital Mumbai, this will be a one stop destination for corporates and bureaucrats for global conventions & first of its kind exhibition centre for products and services.
The project posed a challenge in terms of fixing Panna fragolla and Satvario Stone of size 600x1800mm, each stone weighing above 100 kgs to be adhered on exterior facade of the building.
LATAPOXY® 310 Chemical Anchor was recommended to fix Panna fragolla and Satvario Stone on external facade covering an area of 1,65000 sq. ft. LATAPOXY® 310 is a two component, high strength epoxy adhesive which is specially formulated for spot bonding fixing method of stone installations on vertical surfaces.
LATICRETE® 254 Platinum Thinset Adhesive was used for fixing glass mosaic tiles in fountains and water bodies located in the external areas of the convention centre.
